Environmental Engineer
Juneau Associates, Inc., P.C., a progressive Engineering Consulting Company having a municipal and state client base, is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to work in their Edwardsville Illinois office. The Environmental Engineer should be capable of ultimately becoming responsible for being a lead Environmental Engineer.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate for this Environmental Engineer position must be a self-motivated person who desires to be on the team of a growing business providing municipal engineering services. The position includes the design and improvements to water distribution and waste water collection systems, water and waste water treatment plant designs, project report writing, facility assessments, communicating with clients and government entities, system modeling, and calculations.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Report writing, design, AutoCAD drawings, possession and/or understanding of state and Federal water and waste water regulations, interaction with clients, contractors, report presentations, project management.
Requirements
- Professional Engineer registered in Illinois and Missouri or ability to become registered
- 5+ years of Environmental experience
- Minimum of BS in Civil Engineering (a Masters Degree is a plus)
- Oral and written communication skills (copies of previous reports will be required)
- Proficient in AutoCAD capabilities
- Positive team working attitude
- Experience with computer programs…Water CAD, EPA net, Sewer CADD, SWIMM (Storm Sewer Evaluation Software
Compensation / Benefits
Compensation salary is based on experience. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan and vacation time.
